Our area offers so many fun things to see and do. Each season in Vermont brings new entertainment. We are known for our hiking trails, our historic sites, our mountain resorts for year round activities, local breweries, hot air balloon festivals, educational science centers, arts and culture, and of course, our fall colors.

Before you explore outside of our Inn, be sure to tour the orchard and stop in the store for some fresh apple turnovers!

Vermont offers some amazing local breweries, cideries, and wineries. Take a tour or just visit the locations closest to Mendon. Check out a map of locations and descriptions on Vermontbrewers.com.

Calling all hikers and biker, walkers, those that love canoeing, bird watching, snowshoeing or skiing! Visit the Vermont Recreation Trails Directory online for all of your outdoor adventure needs. Two of the most well known trails in the area are right up the road: The Long Trail and Appalachian Trail.

The Vermont Institute of Natural Science is fun for all ages. VINS Nature Center is New England's leading raptor care and educational facility. They offer daily raptor shows and are home to over 20 species of birds of prey. You can check out more information on their website here: Vinsweb.org.
